I did some research on the internet about what a typical pop star looks like, which artists would suit and be associated with my genre and how they are styled. This is what I found out.

Jessie J

Jessie J is a typical pop artist. She is styled quite neatly and so that she looks perfect and flawless for the camera. Also her makeup looks quite natural and her hair is done nicely.

Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole is another example of a pop artist that always has her hair and make-up done up nicely. Her make-up also looks quite natural and not over the top. Cheryl also looks quite attractive. 

Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson is also another example of a pop artist that always looks her best. Also she has her hair and make-up done nicely and her make-up is quite light and natural as oppose to a rock star who usually wears dark makeup.
